Vanessa Hudgens and Alex Pettyfer of CBS Films’ upcoming horror fantasy “Beastly” will be honored as ShoWest 2010’s male and female Stars of Tomorrow.
The duo will be feted at an awards gala set to close the exhibition confab on March 18. ShoWest opens March 15 at the Bally’s and Paris hotels in Las Vegas.
ShoWest managing director Robert Sunshine called Hudgens and Pettyfer “outstanding young talents”

Vanessa will be helping out at the Hope For Haiti Now Telethon taking place from 8pm ET this evening. The two hour event will run commercial free on various television networks worldwide. Other stars confirmed include Zac Efron and Ashley Tisdale. *Update: Photos now available in the VanessaH gallery.

As ZAAngels.com reported earlier this week (on the 13th), Vanessa stepped out in a light colored short Alberta Ferretti frock to join 2010 Golden Globe nominees and winners at the 11th Annual Warner Brothers and InStyle Golden Globe After-Party held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday evening (January 17).

Vanessa attended Jennifer Tisdale’s Baby Shower, which was held in Beverly Hills, on Saturday (01/09). Amongst others, Ashley Tisdale, Stella Hudgens (Vanessa’s younger sister) and Haylie Duff were in attendance at the event which was covered by People Magazine.
Jennifer, who is having a baby girl, tweeted afterwards:
‘Had an amazing baby shower with great friends, I am one lucky girl!!’
