Comedian Kevin James will host a special charity day of fun for the Make-A-Wish Foundation on Sunday, March 14, and he has enlisted the help of a whole bunch of his celebrity friends.

The event will take place at the Santa Monica Pier for Make-A-Wish children and their families from Los Angeles and surrounding cities. The Santa Monica Pier will be closed down for the event as celebrity friends of Kevin and his wife come out to meet the children, and host rides and booths at the Pier…

Stars slated to attend include Mischa Barton, Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon, Sophia Bush, Rosario Dawson, Vanessa Hudgens, Ali Landry, Juliette Lewis, Christian Slater and many more. ..

The event takes place from 11am-2pm.

Vanessa Hudgens and Alex Pettyfer of CBS Films’ upcoming horror fantasy “Beastly” will be honored as ShoWest 2010’s male and female Stars of Tomorrow.

The duo will be feted at an awards gala set to close the exhibition confab on March 18. ShoWest opens March 15 at the Bally’s and Paris hotels in Las Vegas.

 ShoWest managing director Robert Sunshine called Hudgens and Pettyfer “outstanding young talents”

Thanks to an inside source, we’re hearing word that Vanessa might be in attendance tonight at the annual Teen Vogue Young Hollywood party.  Stay tuned for more info and/or photos, as the event starts later this evening! The Sucker Punch hottie is set to co-host the Neutrogena Fresh Face event alongside Heroes star Hayden Panettiere tomorrow (September 26).
