Thanks to the People’s Choice Twitter for announcing earlier today that Vanessa will be in attendance at the 2012 People’s Choice Awards. The event is being broadcast live from Los Angeles on Wednesday January 11th at 9/8C on CBS, so be sure to tune in and keep your eyes peeled for a glimpse of our favourite star!

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences have announced the 15 films which are under consideration for the Achievement in Visual Effects Oscar at the 84th Academy Awards and Sucker Punch is in the line up!

After voting by members, in January the top five nominations will be announced at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater. Then, on Sunday February 26th 2012, the winners will be announced at the 84th Annual Academy Awards at the Kodak Theater!

Congratulations to Vanessa and the entire Sucker Punch cast and crew! Our fingers are firmly crossed for a win!

Its time to nominate candidates for the People’s Choice Awards 2012! This year, Vanessa is nominated in the ““Favourite Movie Star Under 25 Presented by Moviefone” category alongside stars including Emma Watson, Kristen Stewart and last year’s winner Zac Efron.

Vanessa came out to nab a few goodies earlier today (February 26th) in Santa Monica, CA at The LG Cinema 3D HDTV Lounge Backstage At The 2011 Spirit Awards. As previously mentioned, Vanessa Hudgens was honored this week (March 18th) with ShoWest 2010’s ‘Female Star of Tomorrow‘ award at their ‘‘Final Night Banquet and Awards Ceremony’ in the Paris Hotel, Las Vegas. Vanessa, who wore a glittering ‘All Saints’ frock, attended the event with Beastly co-star Alex Pettyfer who was awarded ShoWest 2010’s ‘Male Star of Tomorrow’.

ShoWest is a movie industry event held every year in Las Vegas and is one of the first places for studios to showcase the posters and standees for upcoming movies. This year, CBS Films has revealed its Beastly Standee.
