Vanessa has joined social networking site Pinterest which lets users organise and share all the fun things they find across the internet. She has created boards for ‘Art‘, ‘Music‘, ‘Style‘, ‘Things I Love‘ and ‘My Pics‘ so far and we’re sure she’ll be creating loads more and pinning lots of her favourite things.
We’re excited to see what other boards Vanessa creates and what items, pictures, music and websites she decides to pin.
During her promotional tour for Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, Vanessa has visited the Habbo Hotel in Mexico and recently, Habbo in France! Vanessa has teamed up with the Make It Right Foundation to auction a Sucker Punch movie poster signed by Nessa herself! The auction is being held on eBay and all proceeds go to the Make It Right Foundation which “builds safe, sustainable homes for New Orleans’ families who lost everything in Hurricane Katrina“.

We’re excited to reveal that Journey 2: The Mysterious Island did brilliantly on its opening weekend taking third in the box office and a HUGE $27.6 million across America.

Stronger-than-expected performances by “The Vow,” “Safe House,” “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island” and “Star Wars: Episode I — The Phantom Menace” knocked down a couple of domestic box-office records this weekend.
Debuting at No. 3 in North America, New Line’s “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island” seriously outperformed pre-release expectations. The movie, which box-office watchers outside the studio initially predicted would take somewhere in the low-to-mid teens, grossed $27.6 million.
The PG-rated 3D film starring Dwayne Johnson, Josh Hutcherson and Vanessa Hudgens, has now grossed more than $100 million worldwide.
The movie’s uptick from Friday to Saturday is especially noteworthy: It jumped from $6.6 million on Friday to $12.7 million Saturday. On IMAX screens alone, “Journey 2″ grossed $4 million — 14 percent of the movie’s overall domestic box office.”

Vanessa attended the French premiere of Journey 2: The Mysterious Island at the UGC Cine Cite Bercy in Paris earlier this afternoon (January 12th). Also in attendance were co-stars Josh Hutcherson and Luis Guizman. Wearing a white printed strapless dress with bow detail, she posed on the red carpet solo, as well as with the rest of the cast!
